Navigate to www.vandalweb.uidaho.edu (using Internet Explorer for best results) and enter your student ID number with the dash (e.g., 061-12345), your PIN number, and then click the Login button.
In VandalWeb, select the Student Information / Registration Menu --> Registration Menu --> Check Your Registration Status. Select the term for which you would like to view your registration status and click the submit button. VandalWeb will then display any blocks or holds on your registration, what date you may begin registering for the next semester, and your current advisor.
Navigate to Student Information / Registration Menu --> Registration Menu --> Add/Drop Classes. Select the term for which you are registering, then click submit.
By registering for classes, you are creating a financial obligation to the University of Idaho. Classes are not dropped automatically for non payment.
Enter the CRN or multiple CRNs for the class or classes you wish to register for under the Add Classes Worksheet. Click Submit Changes. If you wish to put yourself on a wait list for a closed class, you must select the Wait List option in the Action column and click the Submit Changes button to complete the request. The classes you registered for will now be displayed under Current Schedule.
Note: Course time conflicts are not checked or restricted by VandalWeb.
First attempt to add the course using the Add Classes Worksheet. The course will then appear under Registration Add Errors. Select the Wait List option in the Action column and click the Submit Changes button to complete the request. Click here for more details on wait lists.
View the class you want to drop under Current Schedule. Under the Action column click the drop down menu and select DROP and click the Submit Changes button to complete the request.
This cannot be done through VandalWeb. Students must submit an Add/Drop Form signed by the course instructor and advisor (for undergraduates). Click here for deadlines to change a course to audit.
Return to the Registration Menu and select Change Variable Credit Hours. For courses that have a variable credit option, enter the appropriate credit next to the class and click the Submit Changes button.
Navigate to Student Information / Registration Menu --> Registration Menu --> Student Schedule by Day and Time. Select the current semester and click submit. Your class schedule will now be displayed for viewing and printing.
Navigate to Student Information / Registration Menu --> Registration Menu --> Textbook Express. Click Submit Textbook Express Info. From here you can either print off the list or order the books online for pickup at the beginning of the semester.
Note: By clicking on the Textbook Express option, you have left VandalWeb and will need to login again to return.
